without you, i’m nothing. i’m but a skeleton in the closet, inanimate, and devoid of flesh. it’s you who opens the door and allows me to breathe. dear one, i wrote this poem for you.
sometimes i wonder
what secret you possess
to touch my core with power
no other soul can address
and then to make me soar up high
and feel the lightness that joy brings
and then as the clouds run dry
the colors of thousand springs
what is it about you
to give me such release
that’s all i need to know of heaven
that’s all i need to know of grace
