i don’t even know her real name. she called herself sam, which could affectionately stand for “she’s amazingly marvelous”.

she was the ultimate blogger. hers was one of the most popular sites with a lot of following. yet, suddenly, unexpectedly, without hint or warning, she decided to hit the delete button and leave us in the dust.

top 10 possible reasons she went away:

  1. she was burned out
  2. she thought it was best to quit while ahead
  3. she gained weight with too much blogging, requiring her go out more to shed pounds
  4. her boyfriend made her do it
  5. she exceeded the allowed bandwidth limit, making her a victim of her own success
  6. she found a cure for her insomnia
  7. she finally succumbed to facebook
  8. the moral majority found her
  9. she got married
  10. (supply your own)

her style of writing was sexy but never in poor taste. sometimes it was hard to distinguish which entries were real and which ones were pure fantasy, but they were entertaining nonetheless.

once she told me to keep on writing because she loves to read. as a result, her spirit will continue to haunt my blog. i’m sure i’d feel her presence on them days i least expect.

in the meantime, i wish her the best of luck. thanks, sam, for the memories.

Not meaning to be morbid or anything, but I suspect

so it means the site is no longer existing? or she just stopped writing?

anyway, im sure she’s reading this entry. she just probably opted to be a reader na lang instead if writing/sharing her stories.

Hacked? Infected by a virus? She paid the ultimate price to prevent it from spreading any further.

if the site got infected with a virus, she did the right thing shutting it down completely.

I always believe that the reason a person would totally abandon an online blog/facebook account/twitter etc is for privacy.

I’m sure she wanted to start anew and wanted to put an end to what the world has already known about her. She might also be going through phases right now and in time would decide to go back to what made her feel good before, which is writing. Or, she might continue to write but would start to hide her real identity.

Hmmm for a blog with great content, a loyal cult of followers, and a brillant (and sexy) head behind it…she prolly had a pretty good reason for it. It’s not an easy task to do for sure. For whatever cause she may have, I believe it’s for something better. Let’s hope her the best!
