bourdain nibbles on the philippines

February 10, 2009 at 3:53 pm 6 comments

thanks to fortuitous faery for posting in her blog that anthony bourdain finally made it to the philippines. he’s that celebrity chef and author who hosts a tv show called ‘no reservations’ on the travel channel. the philippines episode will be aired on monday, feb. 16, at 10 pm est.

he has taken the unenviable task of being paid to wander from country to country in search of exotic cuisine. the first time i saw his show, i was hooked. the bastard is really good.

Whoa, he didn’t really try out any cuisines haha. He went straight for the side street stuff. Cool. I haven’t seen a jeep or trike since I lived there. So cool. Definitely remember people piling up on those things.

in one interview, he said the philippines was the country most people wanted him to visit. he must have a lot of pinoy fans. hopefully, he had a great time.
