I haven’t realized that there was a growing issue about the emergence of the silhouette-apple-bite logo. Copyright for me is a very serious matter, but I can’t seem to find my stand about this without the right knowledge about the matter. So long, Steve Jobs.

Chris Thornley was first. Isn’t it worth anything?

i guess he holds the title until another individual or a group of individuals come forward. incidentally, i don’t even consider it worth arguing about among current and future claimants. nobody’s proprietary rights have been violated except perhaps that of apple.

Anybody can always say he was the first, but Jonathan Mak is the man. What can be more unbiased than Google search? It shows that his design was ahead of the others.

i see your point. it doesn’t take rocket science to doctor dates in your computer files. but as i said before, this ‘me first’ controversy isn’t worth pursuing anymore given the underlying circumstances. let it rest in peace.

I take it with a grain of salt. The charity drive is only an excuse for self-promotion.

art is subjective. unfortunately, a large majority of internet users don’t agree with you. jonathan mak’s version went viral because people felt a strong emotional connection to it. mr. thornley’s creation didn’t evoke the same feelings.
