for friday fictioneers 100-word challenge 22 november 2013

how quickly could one’s fortune change? i used to be the center of attention in an upscale store. i was hot wearing the best outfits that money could buy. the girls would flirt with me to the point i yearned to become human and give them what they deserved.

i looked forward to the day when the gods would finally grant my wish. i was so full of myself that i didn’t anticipate the day i was crushed by black friday shoppers rushing in like a mob. suddenly, i found myself broken with both arms missing and discarded like trash.
