Blessed is he who has found his work; let him ask no other blessedness.

— Thomas Carlyle, Scottish writer (1795 – 1881)

i chanced upon this craftsman while walking around samovodska charshiya street in veliko tarnovo, bulgaria. as he worked in his little shop, i sensed his joy turning silver into objects of art using old-fashioned tools. right then and there, i knew he found his calling. i politely asked if i could take his picture. although a little shy, he gladly obliged.
