Uh oh – looks like the lunch meeting may need to change venues!

Cool picture, Plaridel. Brings back good memories for me. German food was so fascinating. Just make sure you don’t say “ein Stück Pizza”! Somehow I ordered a whole pizza for my husband, and a whole pizza for me, rather than a piece each. (And I didn’t like Sprudel, call me crazy.) D’Oh!

well, you’re not alone in that department. i make those little boo-boos all the time. but sprudel? how could you not like sprudel? i can eat two of them in a flash.

It was fun, but I got us on the wrong train, too, but we got to see parts of the Rhein we wouldn’t have. Germany is great for people who love meat and sauerkraut-type foods. But I couldn’t handle the “mineral water” type of Sprudel. Strudel is a totally different story; I’ll eat sweet things practically anytime, multiple times, esp. Schokolade. 🙂

uh-oh, what can a letter do? i actually meant strudel not sprudel. 🙂
