Weekly Photo Challenge: Fun!

Location: Disneyland, Anaheim, California

Disneyland is the happiest place on earth. You never outgrow it. It provides fun for all regardless of age. I say it as I really mean it and not from somebody who want to take you for a ride.

Take the case of my mother who is way, way past the retirement age. When she came to see me from the Philippines, I took her to Disneyland. It was a six-hour drive from the San Francisco bay area where I live, but it was all worth it.

She caught the magic. She even had her picture taken with the Disney characters roaming around. It was a joy to see her living in the moment and having fun after my father passed away.

Disneyland is where happy memories are made. I’m sure my mother had a great time and the memories of her visit would remain with her (and me) for a long time.
