Sognefjord

Location: Sogn og Fjordane County, Norway

This picture was taken last month while cruising on the Sognefjord, the longest and deepest fjord in Norway and the second longest in the world. It was one of the most spectacular places I’d ever been.

A fjord, as defined by Merriam-Webster, is a narrow part of the ocean between cliffs or steep hills or mountains.
