Weekly Photo Challenge: Transmogrify

McDonald’s is one of America’s most famous exports. According to statistics, it has 36,000 restaurants in more than 100 countries around the world.
Wherever I travel, I always look for it. It’s like home away from home. It’s not for the food, silly, but for its restrooms. When you really have to go, you’d find them up to standard.
McDonald’s is usually easy to find with its big golden arc sign displayed prominently in its location. It’s part of its DNA.
Science has noted, however, that DNA is dynamic and adaptable and subject to change as a result of environmental factors. That’s what came to mind when I came across McDonald’s in Bergen, Norway last month. Its looks has gone a complete transformation in line with the efforts of preserving the image of the historic neighborhood where it’s located. Fortunately for consumers, the high quality of its food, services, and restrooms remains the same.

Not a fan of McDonalds – but they move in at times into the lovely buildings. Great entry.

Over here in Sweden we have a Swedish brand called MAX – that has fantastic burgers … and they have done so well for themselves .. so if the urge comes over me that is where I go.

That looked anything but like McDonald ! But it’s nice that they are keeping up with the old heritage and not changing the look of the building. I like your take on the challenge. Very different ! 🙂
