Galapagos Islands

Location: Galapagos Islands, Ecuador

If Galapagos islands are in the bucket list of many travelers, it doesn’t come as a surprise. Visiting the islands is like a step back in time where hues of gray and white dominate the landscape.

Made famous by Charles Darwin, they’re home to a variety of wildlife such as mammals, reptiles, and birds. Due to lack of natural predators, they have survived unmolested. Humans don’t scare them. They don’t mind if you get up close and personal and take their pictures.

The photos on this page were taken in 2012. They sure brought back many happy memories. I’d love to go back but it’s just that there are other interesting places to go leaving little time for a repeat.

glad you liked them. some of them were rushed because the subjects couldn’t wait.
