Returning home on a stormy evening, Nathan was worried Sara had left him. He was relieved to find her in bed asleep.

After six months of living together, they had their first big fight. Nathan found her messy standing in contrast to the way he was brought up.

“You’re home,” Sara said, awakened by his presence.

“I’m sorry for what happened today. I said things I shouldn’t have said.”

“Apology accepted. We both need some growing up to do.”

“Hey, is that my pajama you’re wearing?”

“Do you mind? Mine are all in the hamper.”

“No, no, not at all.”

Probably a lot of wives and girlfriends wear some variation of their significant other’s clothes to bed.

I can see him in the dark biting his tongue. I’m not sure how long he’ll be able to keep it up!

    Dear Plaridel,

I can feel his teeth biting his tongue at the end. This isn’t going to be easy for either of them. 😉 Good one.

    Shalom,

    Rochelle

Relationships are hard but a couple with the mind can sure succeed in making it work.
I hope they overcome the first storm soon and live together for many more years.

Actually, I think he is rather pleased she is wearing his PJs because hers are not on the floor but IN the hamper… progress is slowly being made…
Besides, what man doesn’t think it sexy when their woman wears their PJs? 😉

It sounds like this pair spent their time apart doing some of that growing up. Lovely the way this ends with an acceptance of her wearing his clothes. Were they the last clean ones in the house?
