For Friday Fictioneers 100-Word Challenge: 12 April 2019

Holed up for not doing my homework, I was lying half-asleep in bed when the phone rang.

“How’s Mickey?” the caller asked.

“I’m sorry, but nobody’s here by that name.”

“No, silly,” she continued. “I mean, your one-eyed monster.”

“I’m not allowed to talk to strangers.”

“I’m Marie. Happy now?”

“Oh!“ I mumbled.

“I want you take off your shorts,” she commanded.

“What makes you think I’d do that?”

“Because I said so.”

“Hey, wait a minute… ________, is that you?”

“Yes,” she giggled and hung up.

At that point, I felt hot all over and went for a shower.

Nothing like a dirty phone call to get a young man fired up. Perhaps now he’ll finish that homework so he can be free to answer the next call.

    Dear Plaridel,

If he’s not careful he’s going to have his phone taken away. She sounds like must to avoid. Good one.

    Shalom,

    Rochelle

Sounds like she has a weird crush on him. This must have been before the time of caller ID. 🙂

With that kind of distraction in class I can understand why he doesn’t do his homework. Raging hormones… it’ll pass…
