After being banished from the Garden of Eden, Eve proved to be the better half. She had the smarts to move on and find ways to survive while Adam remained hung up on the past where they used to live like royalty.

One day, Eve got home and was disgusted to see Adam up the tree awaiting God’s call to come back.

“You’re such a lazy bum, doing nothing, while I was looking for food,“ she blurted at Adam who had climbed down from his perch.

“Not true,” Adam protested. “Look, I just made you a new fig leaf outfit.”

Blaming the man has started from the time of first man. No matter how hard he works, believe me climbing a tree is hardwork, he will find no relief.

Poor Adam. Washed up and middle-aged (or not, but I see him that way). God’s faithful dog.

    Funny take.

Teehee! What an original take on the prompt! I love the idea of Adam sitting up a tree waiting for God to call. As you say, Eve is the better half!

So, it was Adam that came up with the fig leaf modesty preserver that was worn by statues and artist’s models in days of yore!
