Nova Scotia Lobster

 
It’s been said that you haven’t really been to Nova Scotia if you haven’t tried its lobster.

And so it was what I had for lunch when we stopped at Halifax on the way to Prince Edward Island. From the tank, I caught eye of a humongous one and picked it thereby sealing its fate. It was later served on a platter with risotto on the side.

It was a real treat. I truly enjoyed it coming in one piece and maintaining its integrity as opposed to a hamburger where the patty originated from hundreds if not thousands of unidentified cows.

Halifax is the capital of the Canadian province of Nova Scotia. After strolling along its historic waterfront for a couple of hours, we left and headed to Prince Edward Island where we stayed for the long weekend.
