    That is something! Wow!!! Must have been quite a challenge to make that piece, but they somehow got it right, despite the enormous size.

    So cool. I wonder how long the statue lasts before it has to be rebuilt or refurbished. A true labor of life. I’ll be joining up tomorrow, when it’s Wednesday where I live.

      it was supposed to be in place until jan. 6, 2019. when i went there in apr. 2019, however, it was still there.

      it was built in oct. 2018 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of the first world war.
