It was a hot summer day. Homer would rather go to the beach and watch bikini girls strut their stuff. But all beaches were closed due to coronavirus.
And so here he was, trying to earn extra money by cleaning windows on a high-rise apartment building.
What appeared to be a boring job suddenly became interesting when Homer saw a woman in a bathrobe about to take a shower.
Instead of being embarrassed when she noticed him looking through the window, she just smiled and waved at him and then closed the curtains.
“D’oh!β Homer sighed. βBetter luck next time.β

Got to take the perks of the job where he can find them.I’m not sure Homer will be a fast learner though.

Feeling a little friskiness in your story, Plaridel. Take your thrills where you can find them, I say. He will remember that day for a long time.

Dear Plaridel,
I can’t say I feel bad for Homer. At least she had a sense of humor.
Shalom,

Brenda's Thoughts | June 19, 2020 at 5:49 am
I think Homer is a little simple-minded in what he finds entertaining. Good for her to just smile and wave before closing the curtains on him. Nicely written, Plaridel.
