Homer was in the bathroom taking care of business when he heard the doorbell rang several times.

“D’oh!” He quickly washed up to answer the door but no one was there anymore.

He found a package sitting by the gate. It was addressed to his neighbor Sam.

They hadn’t been in good terms lately. Should he keep it for himself? After all, it was finders keepers.

Homer was about to open the box when Marge stepped in.

“I suggest that you take it to Sam,” his wife said. “Maybe it would help patch things up between the two of you.”

Nothing worse than arguing neighbours, I think he made the right move.

Yes, good old Marge – warring neighbours is never a comfortable situation to be in.

Excellent suggestion by Marge. Hoping he takes it. Even if he doesn’t speak with the neighbor, at least leave the package where it belongs.

He probably had a peep inside before he took it just in case it was worth sticking with his first thought! Nice one plaridel.

Open the box. Remove the contents. Replace them with a bomb. Place the package at Sam’s gate. Problem solved. Good story. I enjoyed it.

Nice little moral at the end. Very good! I hope Marge won’t become a widow, though, thinking the box was booby-trapped!

I believe he could be in a lot of trouble if he opened a box clearly addressed to someone else. Good thing he has a smart wife 🙂
