A week before the senior prom, Claire broke her leg in a freak accident that left her in a wheelchair.

She looked forlorn trying her new dress bought for the occasion.

“Why spend your time sulking?” Josh, her new boyfriend, asked. “Let’s go anyway and enjoy our classmates make a fool of themselves on the dance floor.

“Are you sure?”

“One hundred percent. Besides, you know I can’t dance. I’ve got two left feet.”

“It’s a deal!” Claire exclaimed, her face lighting up with excitement.

It was a moment when she felt something real. She realized he was for keeps.
