For Friday Fictioneers 100-Word Challenge: 2 July 2021

“It’s seen better days,” Donald said. “But it’s sure a keeper. They don’t make it anymore.”

“For ten grand, I can get it running just like new, ” he added.

“It’s kinda pricey,” Tucker remarked.

“You can’t put value on something that has been part of your family for a long time.”

“Um, I have to think about it.”

“I can get it ready just in time for July 4th. Deal?”

“Let me ask my wife first.”

“Ok, just let me know.”

Tucker heaved a sigh of relief after Donald left. He didn’t succumb to pressure as he always did.
