It was the moment they realized they were so madly in love.

“Can I kiss you? Alan asked.

“It’s up to you,” Victoria said. “I’m yours now.”

She was expecting a long term commitment, but he wasn’t ready.

Heartbroken, Victoria left for Singapore.

Years passed. Realizing how much he missed her, Alan went looking for her.

They met at the hotel lobby where she worked.

“It’s you,” Victoria said.

“Do you have time for coffee?”

“I’m working.”

“Maybe later?”

“What for? I’d moved on and you should too.”

Noticing the engagement ring on her finger, Alan understood what she meant.

He couldn’t expect her to just wait for him, could she? You snooze you lose. 😉 Good one.

Impulsiveness and commitmentphobic are at opposite ends of the spectrum. Hoping each of them finds a partner that complements their personalities.
