It looked like a mess and the husband couldn’t stand it. Nathan was a neat freak. He looked at things like the computer programs that he wrote. Every line of code must be concise, straightforward, and orderly so that its instructions could be executed and interpreted right.
Ella didn’t mind the clutter. She didn’t care for as long as she knew where to find whenever and whatever she wanted.
Something had to give or they were headed for divorce. A compromise was reached. Ella agreed to get rid of stuff she didn’t need anymore to make room for new purchases.

LOL on those last 3 words. Why not agree that she confines her clutter to rooms that are off limits to him? That way both can be happy. Good story, Plaridel.

A truce of sorts, but will it hold?

Bravo for compromising. But maybe she should remind him of Microsoft code… I find the idea of a room for her to clutter ideal, too.

A good example of opposite personalities.
Let’s hope their compromise works. Isadora 😎

opposites do attract and it’ll take both sides to make the relationship work. 🙂

I’m not sure that will last long. One of those ‘seemed good at the time’ moments!.

Hopefully, more compromise is yet to come. Otherwise, only the lawyers win.

I think Ella knows how to manipulate a situation to her advantage, to get those new purchases.

Oh dear – Ella’s definitely the winner in this. That’s no compromise at all. There’ll be no divorce here – Nathan’s a pushover. Good fun.

There is another choice, but I hope it wouldn’t come to that. 🙂

If Nathan is ever tempted to try to ‘enforce’ the deal, he should remember it could be much worse. Ella might like expensive clothes…

true that. 🙂

Dear Plaridel,
I suspect the new purchases will become part of the clutter. 😉 I guess it’s a start.
Shalom,
Rochelle
