Nathan was relieved when Ella finally agreed to declutter and give their home some room to breathe. It had been a point of contention between them since time immemorial.
“Honey, I’ve got an idea,” she told her husband. “While we’re at it, why don’t you have a yard sale and earn extra money.”
“That’s really great,” Nathan replied. “I’ll set one up as soon as possible.”
That weekend, Nathan found himself busy selling stuff they didn’t need anymore. He wished Ella was around to help out with the sales and stuff, but she was gone shopping with her best friends.

Nice. The reason to declutter is to go shopping.

Dear Plaridel,
That’s the problem with decluttering. It makes room for new clutter. Good one.
Shalom,
Rochelle

She’s shopping – of course she is. Nathan should plan for regular yard sales by the sound of it. Good story.

It’s important to declutter, otherwise there’s no room for all the new stuff.
