It was a perfect addition to her Barbie Collection. Looking back, Victoria had fun playing with it and learning the basics of doing laundry.

But now that she was married and had a growing family of her own, reality struck. She found doing laundry very tedious, especially with Austin not willing to share the load. Her husband’s main excuse was that it was an unmanly thing to do.

Tonight Victoria planned on getting even. When Austin felt the urge to unload, he wouldn’t get a free ride. She’d tell him to leave her alone and do it on his own.

I’d like to see Austin trying to do it on his own!

    Dear Plaridel,

Austin has a lot to learn and I think Victoria’s just the one to teach him.

    Shalom.

PS “‘have’ a growing family” – should be “has”

It’s okay, Plaridel. I’m glad you’re not put off by my correcting you. When I’m speaking or writing in a language that’s not my first I want to be corrected. For that matter I want my mistakes in English to be corrected as well. 😉 And…I have great admiration or those who are fluent in a second language. I speak some Spanish and some Hebrew but wouldn’t call myself anything near fluent.

Yep, if he can’t carry his own weight (and help with the laundry), he ain’t worth keeping around … 😉

Going to work naked is also unmanly.

I was reading something into this – with the ‘When Austin felt the urge to unload’ – thought it was a euphemism probably just my mind could do with a rinse! 🙂

Me thinks Austin is just lazy. She could just not do his laundry and let him. Problem solved. 🙂 I do think both he and she would benefit from learning a few things.

Interesting double entendre there, Plaridel. I have a feeling Austin will start helping with the laundry — or he will start “working late” and start visiting hookers.
