The floral clock located in West Princes Street Gardens is one of Edinburgh’s main attractions. It’s a working clock designed with up to 40,000 plants. Since 1903, it has been used to reflect a different theme each summer.
Last year, the Scotland capital was celebrating its 10th year anniversary as the world’s first UNESCO City of Literature. The clock was thus set up to commemorate the event.
It was a lovely sight to behold, but I stayed there just long enough to take the picture. As a tourist, I didn’t have all the time in the world. As Sam Levinson said, “Don’t watch the clock; do what it does. Keep going.”
