For Friday Fictioneers 100-Word Challenge: 1 April 2016
Note: Ever wonder what happens inside those office buildings? It’s not always work, work, work. This is as close to a true story as it gets. <blush> <blush> Have fun reading anyway.
It’s just another day in the office.
A moment ago, our secretary stopped by and said I’d be under her spell soon.
I nearly fell off my chair laughing.
To prove it, she asked me to raise my right foot and rotate it in clock-wise motion.

I’d be darned, she was right, and there was nothing I could do about it.
Next time she heads down to my cube, I’m running to the nearest fire exit.

I find it funny that after letting people go, management is now projecting more work ahead that contractors will be hired to help out.

There were plenty of seats to choose from. What a welcome treat for daily commuters like me during this cold season. I didn’t have to worry when my neighbor with a cold started snorting and coughing incessantly. I just moved gracefully to a much safer spot.
