Weekly Photo Challenge: Spare

Airport Scene
Location: San Francisco International Airport, San Francisco, California

Traveling nowadays can be so stressful as a result of added security that one wonders if it’s all worth the trouble. It shouldn’t be like this considering the ever-increasing cost of airline tickets, but that’s the new reality. Some bad people are determined to cause us harm.

After surviving the harrowing long lines at the TSA, aren’t you glad there’s this moment to spare before your flight to provide some relief?

It can be used for spending quality time with your traveling partner, texting, working on your laptop, taking a nap, having a snack, enjoying a bathroom break, staring aimlessly in space, or whatever suits your fancy provided it doesn’t alarm authorities.

And voilà! Before you realize it, it’s boarding time. You’ll be on your way to your destination.

The Three Quote Challenge: Day 3

Golden Gate Bridge

Her blog is called, Flights of Fancy. I suggest that you visit it and prepare to be blown away.

a day in chinatown

san francisco chinatown

location: chinatown, san francisco, california

i thought it would be good time to go christmas shopping at the chinatown last saturday. the weather was gloomy and chilly but the weatherman said no rain until the evening. so off i went to san francisco without an umbrella. as soon as i got off the train, however, i felt the raindrops. darn, the weatherman was wrong again. why should i ever trust him again?

chinatown was a good three blocks away from the train station. i made my way trying not to get wet at first, but i got wet anyway. once i got wet, it didn’t matter anymore. i walked the walk as best as i could in my brand new shoes. yes, my brand new shoes! as usual, my timing was impeccable.
