Weekly Photo Challenge: New Horizon

In the following poem, Emily Dickinson may allude to heaven and immortality, but it may apply to the future as well.
These tested Our Horizon—
Then disappeared
As Birds before achieving
A Latitude.
Our Retrospection of Them
A fixed Delight,
But our Anticipation
A Dice—a Doubt—
Nobody can predict the future and therein lies its charms. Since it keeps us guessing, it helps maintain our interest.
The future may bring good tidings or it may not. As it looms before us, we must face it with the right attitude. As Patricia Ryan Madson said, “If something is not to your liking, change your liking.”
