“Where am I?” A distraught Peter found himself outside on a busy street in their neighborhood with cars and early morning commuters leaving for work.

The last time the 10-year-old remembered was he was lying in bed getting ready to sleep.

Peter wondered if aliens had abducted him for medical experiments. He touched himself all over for signs of intrusion and to make sure everything was intact.

Just in time, he heard his mom’s voice behind him.

“Peter!” she yelled as she rushed to grab him by the neck.

Darn, it was then that he realized he was sleepwalking again.

Glad Mum was there to keep an eye on him – although she should have spotted him before he got out the house! 🙂

Alien abduction might have been the preferred option

Sounds like Mom should put a bell or alarm on the door. That’s a definite ut-oh!

it must have been nerve-wracking for his mom to see him in that situation indeed.

Interesting how he thought aliens put him in the sleepwalking dream.

It’s a dangerous condition to have, I would imagine. I’m glad mom saved him from any harm.

I’m glad he was saved. I like how his first thought was that aliens had abducted him – typical 10 year old with an over-active imagination. He might turn out to be a writer.

    Dear Plaridel,

Imaginative take on the prompt. Glad Peter’s mom was there to wake him.

A great imaginative take on the prompt. I particularly liked the boy’s thought that he had been abducted by aliens.
