Diane had been reported missing since she was last seen driving away to escape a toxic relationship.

When her car was retrieved from the depths of the river, she could only sigh in relief. She muttered to herself, “Finally, justice will be served.”

After a thorough investigation, the police labeled it foul play, and the husband became the prime suspect in her murder. But the absence of a body left them grasping at shadows.

“I’m buried over there underneath the flower bed,” Diane cried out. But nobody could hear the dead woman talking, her ethereal voice lost in the wind.

Perhaps a mysterious pattern of flower death, signalling “Dig Here” would be her best bet?

Oh no. It’s too late to save her. Neat twist at the end – I was thinking she’d escaped. Sad, though.

Don’t they always dig up the garden when looking for the victim of domestic murder.

i suppose it’s most convenient to hide the victim’s body, especially when in a hurry.

The most dangerous time for a woman (or a man) in a toxic relationship is when they leave. There is her reward for doing the right thing. My heart goes out to her. I hope the murder is found out, the sooner the better.

it’s an irony that daisies are symbols of true love being composite flowers that are blended together in complete harmony.
