Weekly Photo Challenge: Transient

We live in a transient world where nothing lasts forever. Love. Family. Friends. Sadness. Success. Disappointments. Hopelessness. You name it. They come and go as the tide of the ocean.

There are times, however, when we become so attached to a specific moment in our life, such as a relationship, that we lose our perspective. As a result, we become disheartened when it ends.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we can enjoy this kind of moment and be able to let go when the time comes?

In last night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, Anthony Hopkins, who turns 80 this year, was asked to share an important life lesson he has learned.

“Keep going,” he told Kimmel without hesitation.

“I like that,” the host said. Me, too. If I may, I want to add holding on to the good memories and leaving the bad ones behind.
